I'm glad I didn't know about it back in the day, because I would have secured myself a copy. I was still a huge Ultima fan back then. You're welcome? I think the main difference I recall reading was that it didn't have the triple crossbow that you end up getting later in the game. Whatever you do... DO NOT play the FM Towns version with the voice acting enabled. Oh god, is it atrocious! They didn't hire voice actors back then, they just had some people around the office do the voices. Only other game I've played that was that bad was one of the Divinity games (I think it was Beyond Divinity). It is a free-roaming game kind of like Time Pilot '84 but with super-annoying sounds and music. I mean, you will turn the volume down within 1 minute or you will go crazy.
