There's a boxed Chase the Chuckwagon for sale on ebay. Recently some reproduction boxes were offered.

Can anyone identify if the box in this ebay listing is original or a reproduction?

Man, I remember when this was THE game to have in your collection.... even then, it wasn’t the rarest one, but it was always feather you wanted to have in your cap.

Am I the only one who likes that game? I guess so, because I like Pac-Man and Cat Trax too

Yes, that's true - but it the game not available over here in Europe. So I have to look for one on eBay...

The inside of the box is white - this is uncommon for vintage boxes. Does anyone own that box and

can approve that this looks like an original box?

thanks in advance

Unless his camera adds color w/flash that box and label look gold to me when they should be silver.

Yep, looks fine.  Not a bad box either, they scratch easily.  The gold look is from warm lighting.

Guessing this one is going to go for quite a bit given that a complete boxed copy hasn't showed up in quite a while.  It's also in really nice shape.

It just got a ton of bid ups on it from what I think is schoolgirls account. If they're involved in the bidding, it's going to be overpriced.

Amazing how he bid it up to his maximum and then stopped!

How much are they worth these days?  I paid a lot more than what the auction is at right now.

It'll go for a lot more than that, but I assume the price has come down from years ago when it was the it game. Never really tracked a CIB since I'll never have one.

I have seen cib ones sell in the $300 something range in the past but this one will probably go into $400s since we haven't seen one in a while and the publicity it's getting. A lot of atari games seem to be on the uptick.

The last few on Ebay have all sold in the mid-$400 range including one CIB with a much worse box last month for $439.  This is the nicest box I've seen in a while though, so I could see it easily getting into the $500 range or higher.

While it isn't the best game for the system, I still think the seller is being a little harsh in calling it a "rear game"...
