Anyone run their Atari computer through a TV tuner card connected to their PC? I know some games out there has an issue with some models that can only show at 30 frames per second instead of 60. Games that use Super-IRG mode, 480i, or showing player/missiles in alternate frames may have display issues. I played around with stuff that alternates slower, but becomes more obvious. Best solution is a TV tuner card that does full NTSC 60 or PAL 50 for old video game consoles and computers.

If you're talking about the RF output, that will be 25 or 30 frames per second or 50/60 *fields*.

50/60 FPS fields. Games I made like Secretum Labyrinth, Delta Space Arena, and Megaoids all made use of 2 alternating character sets for Super IRG mode. HeliCommander has 8 bullets from the missiles showing in alternate frames. Working on a hidden feature for HeliCommander that will have an option to switch every 2 frames just in case I get a complaint from someone that bought the cartridge and tries hooking up their computer to a TV tuner card like mine that can only do 30 FPS. Then again, any custom hardware or set up people use is at their own risk. Atari 8-bit games are normally intended for stock Atari computers hooked up to a TV or Monitor.
