0?

I've played 4 or 5 games of this and can't seem to figure out how to get points?

It's a tricky game! Still getting the hang of it myself, but I think I can help you score a few points.

You need to climb up the sides of the pyramids. Each side seems to have its own rooms on each level going down the edges. So climb up to the desired level on the desired side and press the bottom button to enter. Try to time it so you don't get knocked off by the bolts from the top of the tower.

Once inside, avoid the creatures wandering around. Hit the 3 button to select the chisel and then tap on each stone section along the wall. Once you reveal the secret room, hit 5 to put away the chisel, then hit the button to take the treasure. (Points scored, yay!) Then you can use the door to slide down to the next room below. There's not much air in the rooms, so be quick.

There's a lot more to this game, but that's what I've figured out so far.

This is what the Vault room looks like with all 5 "gems"

Thank You for your kind words...collecting them is one thing placing them is another..there is a certain order to the combination of the vault...and you only need three , at least level 1 is three I still have not made it through level 2 yet. Also if the order is incorrect the "gem" is place back in the pyramid somewhere else and you have to find it again.

I want to give roadrunner a shout out for supplying the video..it answered alot of questions I had about the game...the game is fun albeit a bit tedious at times but fun all the same.

Northcoastgamer has a score of over 134,000 on High Score.com.

Once everyone catches on to this game I expect to see much higher scores than mine.

The first goal is to find the Map Vault. It is usually at the top portal (5th) or the portal just below it (4th) on either side of the temple. Make your way down to either the last or second to last room in that portal section. As Nikon said, use the chisel or throw acid to open the vault doors throughout the temple. Explore all the rooms on each portal section on both sides of the temple. For every 20 treasures collected an extra man is awarded. Even picking up the acid gets you 1,000 points just like a treasure. Find and take the 5 different colored map rocks one by one to the map vault, then try the map rocks in the holes. Use the Geiger counter to see if any map rocks are above or below to save time later on. The purple mummies are destroyed by throwing acid anywhere in the room. you don't even need to be facing them directly. On level one there are 15 rooms on each side of the temple. Level 2 has 20 on each side. Level 3 has 25 on each side. For the portal levels with more rooms, I use acid to open most doors, then go back through as many times as need to gather everything. Try to keep track or make notes of the herbs and acid vials locations.

Interesting! I didn't realize there were so many! So would this map of the left side of the temple be fairly accurate, with the blue arrows representing the way in to each level, and the red arrows showing the way to slide out to get back to the ground?

Correct. One room is added to each portal section for level two (6-5-4-3-2) and another room for each portal section for level three (7-6-5-4-3)on both sides of the pyramid. The speed of the snake, spiders and mummies increases for level 2 and faster for level 3. So there are 6-7 rooms to explore and vault doors to open, plus just a minute and a half of air to do so. Use acid to open a door, then down to next room using acid again for each room. It will take a few runs through each of the higher portal sections in order to gather everything.
