Retrospect
Fred's Tower I did this game years ago, in XB. Thought it was time for it to be updated a little. In this educational game (aimed really at children), you help Fred Dibnah to climb towers by solving mathematical problems as he climbs up. Try getting one wrong. He doesn't mess around when he falls. I've provided a link to a video for you to watch just in case you haven't a clue who Fred Dibnah was. He was one of the bravest steeplejack's living in modern times. From Bolton, Lancashire, England. freds tower.zip

Sinphaltimus
Wow cool. Little known fact - I spent 8 years in a former life as a steeple jack and structural steel painter. This pole is the tallest AFAIK on the east coast. Great Neck Merchant Marine Academy. 175' from ground to pulley. I got helped by a 60' extension ladder. Yeah, that's me on the pole.

Sinphaltimus
you've got some balls there i won't go up higher than 15 feet lol Well, it's not the height you have to worry about. it's not even falling... it's hitting the ground. That's the only thing you need to be concerned with. No matter what happens, DO NOT HIT THE GROUND!
Omega-TI
I'd be interested in how the ladder was attached and the guy who did that.

Retrospect
I'd be interested in how the ladder was attached and the guy who did that. Fred attached his ladders by placing one at the bottom, and hammering wooden struts into the cement between the bricks. Once one ladder was fixed into place he would lift up another one. And then repeat the action. He'd often devise pulleys with buckets so he could get stuff up and down. He was never harnessed either. Funnily enough he didn't die doing this.
