Hi Guys - the guy I bought my modded 5200 from on eBay - (excellent build quality) - said to contact someone named Bryan on Atari Age to get the video mod chips???

I know that seems like a long shot, so perhaps you can help. I have another Atari 5200 coming (2 port) and I would like to mod it for AV Composite. Any suggestions on where I can the chips from?

Thanks

He was referring to the AtariAge member Bryan here. Just search for that username and send him a PM. I can vouch for that AV mod board as I've installed it on two other 5200s for other people as well. Good stuff and also excellent for the 7800...hell...pretty much all Atari 8-bit systems!

Did your modded 5200 also feature the UAC in addition? That is the new audio board that Bryan also offers for properly mixed and balanced audio out.

That's Brad Koda of Best Electronics. Bryan is Bryan Edewaard, who developed the UAV audio/video upgrade. Here is a thread which describes it in more detail, including installation instructions for various Atari systems:
