I wonder if it could even save a marriage for you heavy eBay users who collect cartridges like some people collect stamps? Okay, I *MAY* have gone overboard on that analogy... but who really knows? For example, say you wanted to try out "TI Microsoft Multiplan" Okay, there is a guy on eBay currently selling it for $31.66 (with postage). It's actually quite a good deal from a well respected seller, but if you wanted to save all that money, what is your alternative as a FG99 owner? Simple! #1 You would: << CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE MULTIPLAN CARTRIDGE IMAGE >> #2 You would: << CLICK HERE FOR THE 80 COLUMN F18A COMPATIBLE DISK IMAGE >> #3 You would: << CLICK HERE FOR THE MULTIPLAN GUIDE AND KEYBOARD TEMPLATE >> #4 You would: << CLICK HERE FOR THE BINDER COVER >> ... and lastly... #5: You would: << CLICK HERE FOR THE ENTIRE 44.82 MB MULTIPLAN PDF MANUAL >> Okay... it less than 2 minutes you saved yourself nearly $32.00 and have everything except the plastic binder. Now you can see if it's something you would have wanted to purchase after all, or now that you have it, save that money you would have spent and apply to something else... like the future TIPI! I'll toss out my story now... Before I got my hands on the FinalGROM, and before so much stuff was converted for it, I had been (past tense) chomping at the bit for a DSDD 80 track or even a DSQD 80 track FDDC for my Lotharek HxC. Now? Not so much. This thing can have so much stuff on it, that the need for all that space on an emulated floppy is no longer necessary. On top of that, stuff loads off the FinalGROM so fast that the emulated floppy route now seems kinda slow. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
