What I wanted to make clear: If you happen to run REA, you will be presented the program name. If you are running F'web, you will also get the program name. If you have an opened TIImageTool, you could decide to use the method I described above. In these and other not mentioned cases there is some way to find out, and you don't have to switch cartridges or restart something.

Your right in that there is more than one way to skin a cat. A point both Bob and I made. Pretty clearly I think but thanks for the help anyway.

I love FW and still use it.

 

Thing is you have to load a program (FW) to load a EA Load & Run program, that is 2 steps.

 

But then I only use RXB / REA and nothing else as this is my one step process to load a Load & Run Programs.

 

Not everyone will do this, but to each his own.
