+davidcalgary29 Posted March 19, 2018 Share Posted March 19, 2018 Too complicated. There are many rarity guides out there, but most are limited to discrete media formats (ie. cartridges). The A8 had a long commercial life, and has now generated nearly four decades' worth of software, so you can appreciate that accurately collating all of this stuff is a nightmare. Hardware rarity lists are probably more doable, but there are still many variants and oddities that make cataloguing difficult, and probably not enough demand at a collector level to make it worth while. I think it's perfectly feasible to have a guide for at least the 8-bit cartridges, which are fairly finite and manageable. Digital Press has one of them, and there are a few others out on the net. Chris Lynn also has a list that I believe has rarity information too. He posts it in a thread here on AtariAge.
