GarageResearch
Hello, All! The VGBAnext 6.0 console emulator app is now online: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fms.emu Since Google Play has banned my iNES emulator for an invented reason, and I have not been able to find a human being there who would listen and see the situation for what it is, the iNES functionality has now been folded into VGBAnext. Thus, in addition to GameBoy Advance, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Classic, and Super GameBoy, the new VGBAnext will also emulate NES, Famicom, DiskSystem, and VS System consoles. That is a total of 8 different consoles in the same app. Enjoy! PS: The fMSX Deluxe app is currently on $1.99 sale: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fms.fmsx.deluxe PPS: For the current iNES-Android users, I have a bunch of promo codes that will let you obtain VGBAnext for free. Please, email me the proof of iNES purchase and I will give you a promo code, as long as I have one available.
Tanooki
What the hell? I hadn't heard that happened. Google can be so stupid and controlling about stuff at times. There is side loading after all, though you obviously would find that impossible to charge for in that case. Hopefully they don't catch or or someone doesn't snitch you out as that's garbage. There is side loading after all, though you obviously would find that impossible to charge for in that case. Hopefully they don't catch or or someone doesn't snitch you out as that's garbage. My guess is that somebody else has made them ban the app. The reason I am saying this is because they banned iNES under pretense that "it interferes with Android OS or other apps on the device". When I pointed out that this cannot be true, the story suddenly changed to "it allows people to cheat in games, which is prohibited". When I further pointed that the games in question are 20+ years old and do not have anything to do with Android, so Google's Terms of Service hardly apply, they started ignoring me. One definitely needs a lawyer just to talk to Google nowadays, and the point of contact probably shouldn't be these semiautomatic drones with invented names. Tanooki
Typical. The email version of those pricks you end up getting when you call any big company anymore on the phone. Mindless fake sympathetic queue card readers using fake common American names around their accents pegging them somewhere in the phillipines, india, or pakistan commonly and it gets really really annoying. You go in circles, they fake apologize, and then basically shut you down since they aren't allowed let alone willing to actually help you as a lame pacification barrier. You basically need to get a person, demand a domestic supervisor and demand escalation to someone who can make decisions or you're just done. GarageResearch
You basically need to get a person, demand a domestic supervisor and demand escalation to someone who can make decisions or you're just done. I have lately started to believe that Google does not have such people, by design. All they have is a bunch of drones and a few of buttons for sending canned responses. There is nobody managing this activity, or making conscious decisions, and that is how they intend it to work.

If you're right I guess I shouldn't be surprised with all the other negative press about them in the last few years. They've become more into being overly PC, playing it overly safe for any invalid or valid reasons, and unless you somehow have some clout to shame them into a response it basically goes nowhere. You really can't make a dent suing a company that large.
