ZeroPage Homebrew Twitch Stream

I'm highly anticipating Gold Rush as well! :-) The livestream date for the World Premiere has been pushed back a little bit with no current ETA as Dan Kitchen is putting the final touches for its debut. Keep watching the schedule and ZPH social media for updates!

Where's the Gold Rush video? I'm not seeing it on your site. If it's been delayed, what's the new date?

I have discovered many great homebrews through your YouTube channel postings. Are you able/allowed to post links as to where to find the games? While many are here at Atariage, often I have to search Google to find them. Thx for the show!

Hi Radiohead! Thank you so much for watching ZeroPage Homebrew, I'm so happy to hear you're finding so many great new homebrew games to play through our episodes.

If you go to the first post in this thread I provide thread links for each game I play which usually have the ROM download available. Some games I play off of cartridge and some I get pre-release copies but most of the games that are on the show have some sort of download available. Another great resource is Brian Matherne's (Arenafoot) Homebrew List that has download links and details about every single 2600 homebrew game that's been released!

radiohead you can use my Comprehensive Homebrew list which is linked below my signature here in the AA forums - I try and update it often and I post it on both of my OneDrive and Google Drive. All game titles are hyperlinked on the list and that will take you to the location of the game. Enjoy!

Thanks to ZeroPage Homepage and Arenafoot! I've been filling up my FB9 Gold SD card with homebrew games. Many of them are better than the games originally sold for the console back in the day. I play them more than I play the built-in titles.

IT WAS GALAGA!

Thank you so much John Champeau at Champ Games or making my dreams come true with being the first person in world to be able to play Galaga on the Atari 2600. It really blew my mind when that title screen came up, it was such an amazing honour to have the world premiere of your game on the show.

Not only is it Galaga on the Atari 2600, a game that had been long dismissed as impossible to port, it's an INCREDIBLE version of Galaga! Thank you so much for making this game for the world!

Amazing work by the team of

- John Champeau (Coding & Design)

- Nathan Strum (Art & Graphics)

- Ross Keenum (Music & Sounds)

This is an instabuy for sure! The team should be proud.

great game in deed just shows you knowledge can do.
and btw: there is a proto for tempest for 2600 out there it was released some time ago during classic gaming expo. it wasn't the greatest though.
somebody else did try to make one, but it was never completed my laserman 88 is loosely based on it, I did on the ti-99/4a first because there is no tempest port on the ti(it was done in extended basic)

This could be the Year of The Champ! Wizard of War, Zoo Keeper, Avalanche and now Galaga? Wow!

John please get cracking on a port of Fire Truck with Driving controller compatibility. That would be a great co-op two player game.

While waiting for Fire Truck you can play Arctic Landtran. It's inspired by Fire Truck and also works with the driving controller:

Cool! Seems like you're slightly enjoying John's new game. ;)

I don't think I'll be able to watch live. But here's a score (on Standard) for you to take a shot at tomorrow...

Although, if you'd rather play Advanced...

Beat either top score tomorrow, and I'll donate a Stella 6 updated RetroN 77 to the Stella Marathon Auction. :)

Have fun! :D
