Emulation is fine, as are custom controls. Pics preferred, but not required except for HSC wins and records. The current HSC record for Frogger (Fast difficulty) was set by Sonic R - 29,465 points. Do better if you can to earn a bonus point! This was done to prevent the non-self-centering stick from cruising your poor frog right into a truck. It may be easier to use the alternate keypad controls: 2 for up, 4 for left, 6 for right, and 8 for down if I remember correctly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can sometimes get Frogger to jump forward one space, but then he won't jump again and I get run over. Yes, you have to press the fire button at the same time you move the joystick. jblenkle Posted April 2, 2018 Share Posted April 2, 2018 (edited) Well, still no luck...can't get it to change from JOYSTICK to KEYPAD (using Kat5200)...I'll try Altirra and a couple of others...or can the A8 version be used? That one works for me. EDIT: OK, I kind of got it working on Altirra. Had to reconfigure to use the arrow keys for direction and the left control key for fire...it's a bitch being left handed sometimes... I'll probably never do really well, but at least I can play now...thanks!!! If you hit the 0 key on the keypad, the word JOYSTICK should change to KEYPAD at the top of the screen.
