Here's photos from VRGE 2018. It was fun and, compared to SRGE 2018, was larger in number of attendees and game/console vendors but a little smaller in number of art vendors*. As is typical, there was only a small amount of Intellivision games there (no consoles, unlike SRGE) but many of them were CIB French-Canadian variants.
* at least by my own lousy estimates
The line of preregistered attendees ~10 minutes before doors opened was 2/3 of a block long
Photo of part the vendor floor. It fades out to white in the background because of the bright sunlight through the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows
Complete in box ADAM computer. This box is HUGE! Vendor verified it works (he knows many were shipped as defective from the factory) and said it is not yellowed at all. Check out the other boxes for scale.
VTech Socrates Educational Video System. I've never seen one in person, let alone CIB. This console may or may not have had some impact on a piece of Intellivision history...
Diablo for PlayStation. I don't know if the price reasonable, but I got a kick out of it being sold for $666 Canadian.
Poster for Dungeon Construction Co. comic that I got a kick out of (check it out at http://dungeoncomic.com/)
Chiptunes music discussion panel was interesting and educational...
... though the room was modest and a bald-headed freak photobombed a picture of the audience.
Breakfast of champions (brunch really). Drinking coffee in metric and eating a doughnut filled with strawberry and blueberry (if I recall correctly).
