+Stephen Moss Posted April 10, 2018 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Well it is not unreasonable to expect the person who modded it to have checked it was working (30 minute use, fully assembled) before sending it back so really they should offer to repair it for you and pay for shipping both ways as only they know precisely what they did during the mod and thus can go directly to where any possibly solder shorts may be. Although, considering they sent it back not working I can appreciate there may be some reluctance in returning it to them. Considering it is not powering on from either the batteries or power supply the best scenario would be that the flex circuit cable for the buttons was not/incorrectly inserted into the FFC connector during reassembly, thus it is it simply not seeing the on button press otherwise there is a more serious issue. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
