+therealbountybob Posted April 23, 2018 Author Share Posted April 23, 2018 As there seems to be no manual for Ardy: is the only way to get rid of the spiders to reach one of the "treasure boxes" at the bottom of the level? Found pics of a manual in this auction. The only way to kill the spider is to reach the power crystals (apparently the spider would crawl towards the tip of your tongue in the Anteater arcade game. I think you've taken too long when the spider comes that's it! I've found another one Digger by KE Soft (compiled Turbo BASIC) Digger 18,920 This is a strange one, you can eat the squares that appear, sometimes a creature appears from the base of the screen which will kill you by nibbling ya pipe - you can eat these from underneath (at least) I can't quite suss out everything seems to be more to it. I've run out of excuses HA! Somehow I figure that adding 14 to the date and then adjusting it with my fingures if it goes past 31 makes the right answer - last year I had my Atari ABBUC paper calendar to hand in the Atari zone but going to find my diary or into the kitchen about 2m away avoiding treading in the cat litter tray is too much effort! Yes Round closes Sunday 10AM if that's ok with everyone I'd encourage play of the bonus games most are playable! I've played Digger (KE Soft) again - carlsson this one needs your brain power to figure out - seems the diffetrent shaped squares can kill you - perhaps relating to the opening of the surrounding playfield. You can eat the crawling things from any angle. ???! Not that I can see, but the trick is to wait before eating an egg if he's getting near to you so your tongue turns pink for a short period which will repel him Reminder this round and the Round 8 POLL close tomorrow morning 10am Sunday 29th!! McKong Posted April 29, 2018 Share Posted April 29, 2018 It seems as though after the 3rd round on Oil's Well the speed resets to the same speed as perhaps the 2nd round. It seemed quicker than the 1st but not as quick as the 3rd. The 4th and 5th rounds seemed to be the same speed, and I was losing lives cos I'd been playing so long not cos it got more difficult! Lots of good games here all with there own take on things. Thanks for playing guys. In summary: Oils well - great - but could do with another skill level or two? Ardy - very good - possibly hits the difficulty wall to harshly? Eggard - very good - the tongue colour change idea is neat, slick controls. Digger (KE Soft) - probably good but we need to work out how to play this one! Diamond Mine (Blue Ribbon) - good - hard to load! There's some skill to the timing. Jack the Digger - good - but difficulty levels out for top players.
