Good point, I'd rather my system and homebrews not be guinea pigs. I am able to live with some homebrews having some interference. With the brightness at an appropriate level it's pretty much unnoticeable. Not to mention disassembling any carts requires damaging the labels to get to the screw and I won't do that, especially to homebrews. A layer of fish paper between the foil and the PCB would be a good way to prevent that. Assuming the clearances aren't that tight inside the cart (never had one open, so I can't speak to it).
