fiddlepaddle
Man, that guy is fast! He made a one-off complete controller 3d printed case, pc board, and connector for the five thousand two hundred in about 5 minutes. At the right price, he could probably sell a HUNDRED of those things!
BydoEmpire
Ugh, I don't want to play Atari games with a thumbstick. Huge props for the effort though, I can see how some folks would like it and it's a really neat project.
+-^CrossBow^-
Sign me up to buy one if they offered them. I doubt they will. Best would be if they offered the PCB designs and 3d print files for the casing on their element 14 side... They could sell them as a put together kit and that would save money on not having to assemble everything.
Swami
This plus also a USB-PS/2 mouse adapter for the 5200 with a keypad. One you can switch between the analog and digital mode, so it works with games like Gyruss. There could even be an optical mouse-based spinner. I've been thinking about this, but I would have a bit of a learning curve still. Not sure what voltage ranges are used for controller responses or where the analog-digital divide switch would occur in the electronics. SINGLE TOOTH
I highly doubt he will sell them. Most of his things are one-offs and go for tons of cash.
Koa Zo
He said these were for sale, right. Where do I buy one? Edited May 10, 2018 by Koa Zo
+-^CrossBow^-
He said these were for sale, right. Where do I buy one? No he did not. He stated at the end of the video with Felix that he wondered if there was a market for something like this. Of course the answer is YES but no idea how serious Ben would actually be with that. And again, with Ben leaving the show end of next month, I doubt they would have time to get things in place to offer these for sell. Best we can hope for is that Ben releases the designs he used for all of this to the masses to make their own. He likely will provided you have an account at element14.com....
