Is there anyone doing replicas of these? I dont need a valuable collectors item, just want to work my way up to a set for display of the ones Ive actually earned. This run tonight is the best Ive done in over a year. My best ever was day 5 with 40 cars remaining... two crashes in the Fog stage of day 5 did me in. I can get a million points without problems... just need about 4 hours, a catheter, and an energy drink or two. Its more about endurance than skill... really it is. I took a picture of it and I think it was sent out but I never got anything. Three or so years ago someone here had a Spider Fighter patch for sale. I got to 100k with a full compliment of ships, the picture above shows me losing a ship as I took the picture, since I needed a hand to snap the shot. Itd take a few hours, but Id earn the million patch, and I know I can do it. This conversation is going to go like this: Me: Hey baby, I need 4 hours alone upstairs. Wife: Umm, okay, why? Me: I need to do some stuff. Wife: Well, okay... what kind of stuff? Me: <<sigh>> I need to play Laser Blast until I hit a million points so I can earn an Activision patch. Wife: ................. Me: You know... Activision? They send you patches when you hit certain scores on their games. Wife: Okay, thats stupid, but you do what you gotta do. Me: Thanks!!! Wife: At least youre not spending money on more video games. Me: yeah.... about that.... Ill have to buy the patches on eBay after I hit the high score.... see they dont... actually..... send them out anymore.... so its sort of on me to kind of buy them after this whole thing. Yeah.
