Not really. The only thing I noticed was if you press SELECT you can't move the blinds again until you press RESET. No big deal since this was a demo or not a released product.

 

It uses David Crane's "signature" code structure so it looks like is early work.

 

In my opinion, if Atari wanted to go after them for taking trade secrets; they could have reverse-engineered their early products and referenced the horizontal positioning routine. They come from early work at Atari. Similar routines have been used in Air Sea Battle, Basketball, and Canyon Bomber.

Funny thing is, Bob Whitehead literally invented the Venetian blinds technique.
