ianoid
I have a 4 switch with Rev 14 motherboard. When i start it up a get a black screen. Not the usual fry screen of a dirty cart connector. I suspect it's something else. It's a relatively clean unit and the cart connector looks OK, What do you guys suggest I start with? I have a multimeter to work with but I would need specific direction with it. And I can solder and desolder stuff as needed. I don't have a spare unit off hand to swap out parts. Might be able to dig up a harvestable Jr.

ubersaurus
Best Electronics sells the ICs, which is probably a good way to go (especially if you can grab any other spare parts you might want).
ianoid
Harvested from a non working unit, tried the TIA no dice. Then I tried the RIOT and it worked! Thanks! Fun!
