+DZ-Jay Posted May 27, 2018 Share Posted May 27, 2018 I just went to the IntellivisionLives.com site and it redirected me to an Intellivision shopping site which seems to be the Intellivision Productions, Inc.'s online store. However, I do not see links or ways to access any of the rest of the content, like the history pages, etc. I did find it by searching directly for "intellivision history" and got a link to the old BSR site, which appears to still be there... for now. It seems nobody will maintain the BSR history and other contents. I guess this is another casualty of Mr. Robinson's passing, where there's nobody with the time/interest/desire/passion to keep the community and its magnificent history alive, other than to run the online store. I feel sad now. I miss Keith. I wish whoever owns the properties to invite the Intellivision enthusiast community to help in maintaining the sites. Me too, but it is not clear to me if they took it down to re-design it, or just because they don't want to be bothered with updating it. -dZ. I wasn't so much concerned about it being lost forever; I know it's preserved in Archive.org, and links to it can be found in Web search results. I was much more worried about what it may mean to remove access to it from the IntellivisionLives.com page. Well of course, if you get to it directly. The site was not deleted. My concern was that the URL http://www.IntellivisionLives.com/now redirects automatically to the store without offering you the home page with links; suggesting that the rest of the site will not be maintained and that only the store is what matters now. That's a sad development, in my opinion. http://intellivisiongames.com/ OK, that seems to be the site now. I don't ever remember seeing "IntellivisionGames.com" before. All advertising material always directed people to "IntellivisionLives.com" as the "official" site. Perhaps that changed? And you're right, you can still get to the content on the mirrored intellivisiongames.com and astrosmash.com domains. As far as their plans... look for an update on Tuesday.
