Spector
The left fire button on one of my CV controllers is sluggish and unresponsive at times. Should I open it up and clean it like I would with a regular joypad, or is it more tricky than that?
LoTonah
Maybe this will help you out: http://smartbasic.net/2018/05/08/fix-it-guide-coleco-adam-controllers/
rodge2001
Cleaning wouldn't hurt but even better to do some sort of diagnostic test because the controller may be fine but the controller port may be going bad (weak solder joints or controller chip going bad). Can you test with another controller to know for certain that it's the controller itself? Or maybe test in controller port 2 and test while playing as player 2 to see if same problem occurs. ArcadeJunkie
I highly recommend the micro switch button mod. All of my controllers have it and the gameplay is unparalleled!
