I'm curious to what the book has to offer.

I'd try reading it. That usually tells you what a book has to offer.

I know a thing or two about books, I once passed a book report in middle school by reading the back of the book and winging it.

Nice! That is totally impressive, and I mean that seriously.

Paid for Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters today!  Looking forward to my Jaguar getting a very excellent port of this amazing arcade game.

Oh man, I barely caught this preorder on the last day! I love Planet of Robot Monsters, it's not on enough consoles.

Thank you everyone for your orders. I'm off on my summer holidays today, but will still be working on getting everything pulled together as soon as possible. No rest for the wicked

Right I am back from my little excursion to Eastern Europe and i contacted to the box printer and it seems the machine that is used to for the boxes is in pieces at the moment. icon_surprised.gif I have a back up plan, so I am hoping that there won't be any further delays, but I will keep everyone updated. I can't wait to get these out to everyone :)

Eastern Europe... sounds like fun! I accidentally landed in East Germany once (in the 1980s)... I was taking a KLM 747-100 Series flight from Cairo, Egypt to Skipol, NL with my dad's secretary. I don't know what happened but at some point in the flight, the plane just "dropped" for what seemed like 10-15 seconds. Everyone was screaming, and some of the gas masks randomly deployed (guess at the time they were independent and not all one system). Plane flew normal at that point, but we made an emergency landing in East Germany. We landed at some airport that had no power and no running water. We disembarked from a ladder car from the front of the cabin and had to sit in this abandoned terminal for like 3 hours while they did something with the plane (I guess). They had a bunch of East German bloc soliders watching us and escorting us. Eventually we got back in the air, and landed within 15-20 minutes. Was pretty exciting. Sorry... every time I think of "Eastern Europe" that's what I remember. Never been further East than Germany in Europe. Never had the opportunity to experience the old Byzantine Empire.

Update time - Right I have officially changed box printers. What does this mean for 2.4? Well it means that hopefully the boxes will be done quicker now, as the old printers printer is still kaput! I'm also going to be bold and say you will now get the best Jaguar boxes seen yet! I am hoping that these will be ready by the end of next week. If there is any small delay, it will be worth it I am sure. Everything else is coming along nicely. More updates as things progress.

Update time. OK, so the move to a new printer will add a bit more time than anticipated, add to that my messy (proper) work rota I think I am looking to get the boxes around the middle of August. However the boxes will come ready glued so that will save me lots of time. And by that point all I will have to do is put everything else in and seal the postage box (hopefully) so it should be a very quick turnaround by that point in time. It's a bit disappointing to have this delay, but I am sure it will be worth the wait.

Quick update - I've just seen the proofs and have given the go ahead for the boxes to be printed. I'm looking at a completion date of the 14th of the month. So with that in mind I will aim to get everything posted out on the Saturday 18th.
