ianoid
Any suggestions how to proceed ? Power supplies are known good. It's a light sixer from 1980.
fiddlepaddle
Re-flowing the power connector usually fixes that problem.
covertagenda
Make sure you have power to the board, then check the voltage regulator. If I remember rightly it has to be over 7 volts in to give you 5 volts out. If you have this then it must be components on the board eg caps etc.
ianoid
Reflow ingredients the power connector didn't help. After I recapped the power/switch board the unit worked! Thanks again people of Atari Age! The cap kit I got from Console 5 came with two square green caps(?) that I couldn't figure out the polarity for(if they have polarity), and the CPU board has four of those so I skipped replacing those.
