Classic Pac
I got a problem you see I got this light blue GBA yesterday at a yard sale and the screen won't turn on. Yes, I did my research and I do know it's worth fixing...but I have zero, yes absolutely zero soldering skill and frankly I know any attempt I make even attempting to fix it will wind up breaking it. So would anyone here be willing to help me? I would be willing to pay them.
Video
Is it the original non folding model? Some of those, the ribbon can pop out of its socket, and it's easy to fix by plugging it back in. If it's the sp1 or 2, the hinge can actually wear out the cable to the screen. Sp1 is a white screen when off, the sp2 is black. If it's an sp2, it's possible the backlight burned out. Tanooki
The only light blue gameboy advance I'm aware of is the pearl blue GBA 101 style SP. Those things are worth in good shape at least $60. Problem is, if that screen is out, it's going to be worth too much to fix it as I think you can get a drop in replacement around $40.
