I'm not defending his "joke" but we have posts everyday that can be seen as being in poor taste so nitpicking which topics push the wrong buttons while letting others slide is the real example of poor taste. I think a few members here need a heavy dose of "Lighten up Francis!" He was guilty of making an unfunny joke. Something that could have been left to die on the vine rather than involving mods and locking up a thread over it. When I "arrived on the scene" the posting was already closed and nothing much to see. I just looked up his pm that he wrote me shortly after this "incident". I've seen many a post here that might cause many people today to freak out, demand someone's head, etc. But I lived through the 70's. In the Bronx.
