Any advice on how to make the jump at the end? Do I have to make the jump myself by pressing up? I've tried it with speeds in the 50s and as high as 63. Not sure if I'm going too fast, too slow, or just not timing the jump properly; I just seem to line-drive my face into the wall.

It's just a matter of timing. Press up a little ways before Thor gets to the edge if I remember correctly.

This is stupid. Almost all of my lives lost are on the bad luck of having red rocks fall from the sky and land in my face without ever getting the opportunity to jump or duck after losing my first life at that part. Respawned, dead. Respawned, dead. 3,220 pts. When you finally do beat the level, you have almost no lives left to work with.

5,240 pts. Thanks for the help, guys. Game's more enjoyable now that I know you have to slow down at some parts and it's not unfortunate RNG. Going very slow sounds counter-productive, but it's actually helpful at the part with the rocks falling from the sky.

6,870 pts. Going to call it a night and try again sometime this weekend. When you get to the second level, everything feels a tad different. Failed at the falling rocks from the sky part again on level 2, as I see there's more manuevering needed on this stage.

I remember he said he was under the weather last week. I wouldn't blame him if he decided to take a break for a week or two. It's also possible that the site may be giving him problems; the other night, I couldn't access the forums because it said something about a driver error at AtariAge (took hours before the site worked again for me).
