Silvio Porretta - Fight for Life Graphic Artist & Recounting the Atari Days

Adriano Arcade

Recommended Posts

Silvio Porretta, Atari and Neversoft’s graphic artist guru stopped by to Arcade Attack answer a few (or quite a lot) of my questions about the final days of the Atari Jaguar and of course the seminal Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater!

He reflects on his work for the Jag game Fight for Life and gives a great recollection of Atari's crazy days during their turmoil in the mid 90's!

Please enjoy!

I must point out (again) that Atari Corp did not go bankrupt. They were more valuable as a collection of assets, so they shut down, & merged with another company which tried to convert those assets to cash.

Sad, but it's like comparing an airplane crash with an airplane boneyard.
