Does a Japanese analog of the Atari 2600 exist?

There is also the issue that the Light Gun for the Odyssey uses a Nintendo patent for a Light Gun from the Bowling Alley Duck Hunt Game. The Color-TV Game series of clone consoles could have been part of a deal where Magnavox allowed Nintendo to distribute the Color-TV game system in japan in exchange for Magnavox including the light rifle in it's units in America.

That Cassette Vision is interesting, the games look like a cross between early 2600 games and Odyssey 2 games. None of them look very playable though. The Super Cassette Vision is much more interesting, some of those games look fun.
