+sixersfan105
First time I have seen one of Danthwader's controllers included in a bundle on eBay. Grrr buying one just to flip it! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F152917704182
+GoldenWheels
Sixer how do you know he bought it just to flip it? Looks like someone getting out of the 7800 game to me. (I'm of two minds on this even if he did buy it to flip it anyway....some things are limited by parts or time etc and therefore I'd like real players to get them, one per person please, etc. Special homebrews made here for instance by PMP and CPUWIZ...wiz only has time to make so many. But some things need a minimum run for boards to be made to even be worth doing, and there somebody buying two could actually be a help to us if reaching the # was in question)
+sixersfan105
I guess my point is he's only been making these, especially the version 2 that is included in that bundle, for a couple months, so the timing seems odd. That said, he doesn't even reference how awesome the controller is in the bundle, just says "includes everything in the picture," but that's simply an example of a lazy seller. +-^CrossBow^-
Looks to me like someone that just sells video game stuff on the bay routinely. They have at least one other 7800 bundle available only it has the actual Euro gamepad with it. So my guess is that they buy the systems on the cheap and the games and just sell them on the bay. They likely bought Danth's controller because they stumbled upon it from Etsy and figured it was cheaper than trying to buy working painlines or euro pads for one. The fact they don't mention how well that controller works would also point to them just being in the business to sell on ebay and might not actually be collectors or gamers themselves. There are few booths at the local flea market that only deal with video games and the people running them are not gamers nor collectors. They just research what is worth what and snag on the cheap from estate sales and the like to make more money off them later. So it doesn't really surprise me either way. Looks like they have a few AA made carts in there such as the Sinistar for the 5200 they have listed. and that Pengo looks really familiar. I recall someone from these forums many years ago gave one away that was rough but working. I ended up with it and then eventually I got a much nicer one and provided it as part of a giveaway during one of my conventions..interesting. Look, he's free to buy and sell any products he can get his hands on, it just rubs me the wrong way is all.

Only known reseller whose name I've seen bandied about enough to actually remember is schoolgirlinashortdress.
+sixersfan105
He gets remarkable prices for his stuff, too, so he does deserve some credit. Examples of recent sales: Midnight Mutants (cart only) $55; Ninja Golf (cart only) $75; Moon Cresta (homebrew currently only sale at AA for $30 he flipped for $80); Dark Chambers NIB sealed $42. Wow!!!
AtariBrian
Moon Cresta (homebrew currently only sale at AA for $30 he flipped for $80) Actually that says Moon Cresta and Star Castle in the description .
+sixersfan105
Actually that says Moon Cresta and Star Castle in the description . Ok I mean there's only a pic of Moon Cresta. Regardless, impressive. It is kinda in poor taste for you to sell AA homebrew and such on eBay but hey, it's a free country (for now lol)... Swami
Does a Star Raiders keypad actually work with a 7800?

Shawn
You guys do realize that seller is an active (near daily) AtariAge user right? I'm surprised none of you have put 2 and 2 together that he's already posted in this very thread

I really don't see this as flipping it cause it's not even advertised AT ALL in the listing as being anything of a premium to the lot. Yeah, I'm not even sure why it rubbed me the wrong way at the time. Now I'm in a position where I'm looking to sell a 7800 console bundle and realized I don't have any regular prolines or CX-40s to include...so I might have to include Danthwader's first version NES-style pad. Pot. Kettle. Black. Stone me!
