The rotary controller arrived today. Looks so nice with the carrybag and the spinning knob seems to be built to last... really professional

Ill test it tomorrow with tempest 2000...

Yay! Glad it arrived safely.
You're in for a treat, man. Tempest with rotary control is sublime. :)

Ahh customs...
Ever the party poopers.

I hope people don't get stung with import duty.
In order for the Opals to be insured I have to declare the full value.
I marked them all as gifts, but customs don't always fall for that these days...

However, they are out of stock at the moment.
I am aiming to have the next batch ready by the 10th of August.

Ah man... I missed it. You're out of stock!

I'm definitely interested.

Impressive that you can pull the power for that from the Jaguar's controller power. Didn't know it had enough! Very cool.

Yeah man. The Jag can supply 50ma from each controller port.
The fancy LED I use has a normal draw of 20ma and a max of 30.

Given that the team tap has 4 controllers plugged into 1 port, the actual power draw of the controller IC's themselves will be marginal. Maybe 10ma I'd say.

Thank you!

I like the PVM 2730 that much I got four of them. :-)

They‘ll be fully recapped within the next two month, I guess I‘ll not running out of work... ;-)

Finally got my controller today. The quality is excellent, it looks like something Atari would have built themselves. The knob size is perfect for thumb and fore finger to control. The speed is spot on and the RGB looks stellar. Just broke my old T2K high score by a nice margin on my first go, def satisfied with my purchase.

It took a while but I guess all bets are off once Customs get their paws on parcels...

Thanks for the write up as well! Glad you are enjoying it :)

Just out of interest: did anyone have to pay a customs fee, or did the old "gift" trick actually work?

Make sure it's a 'gift' with a reasonable low value.

No can do.
I mark them as gifts but I have to declare the full value for insurance purposes.

I was just wondering if anyone got stung.

Can somebody please point me out to somebody capable of creating a rotary controller for PS4 for Tempest 4K? Can message me if you have the ability to make one. Thanks.
