If you do the power mod, then you pretty much have to attach a cable to this RCA jack to continue to get RF output. I've heard of some leaving the original RF cable in place and still use it after doing the power mod, but the instructions I always followed looks to have the original removed. smbaker Posted July 19, 2018 Share Posted July 19, 2018 I just performed the power mod on my 4-port 5200, and continued to use the original RF cable with no issue. Looking at the schematic,it looks to like both cable and jack terminate to the same place? I'm doing the composite mod this weekend. Then I won't have any need of any silly RF cables anymore.
