I wonder if a disk that's failing format like that gets kryofluxed.scp'd and them formatted under 3, kryo etc. and then finally formatted again with 2.xx, kryo etc. and then a compare is done if it would show why in the stream.... it should, but the lack of index hole use make it tough tough tough to do... 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
flashjazzcat Posted July 22, 2018 Share Posted July 22, 2018 (edited) The only difference once the drive manages to successfully lay down the tracks is in which sectors get written out to form a blank filesystem, and there won't be many.
