This may be a silly question or I may just be blind.....

The homebrew games available on the store here (for the 2600) are the all NTSC or are there PAL options..... or has the worly gone bonkers and there region free???

Thanks for any light shed.

You're welcome. Al will be able to answer best on the ones that do not specify but, I believe, those may work on either region and that may be why nothing is said but I've also seen several specifically state they work on either region. Hopefully, Al has a look in this thread and can clarify further for you.

If it's not listed and does not have an option near the top to choose between NTSC and PAL versions, the game will be NTSC-only. Descriptions for most newer games will state whether a game is NTSC-only or has PAL support. Some games have built-in PAL support, others have separate PAL and NTSC versions, and some have no PAL support.

Technically all 2600 games are region free. Ntsc and a pal games will run on the other system, usually with different colors or speeds. Of course there are some other issues that can cause scrolling and other issues.

But yeah, most AA titles are ntsc, the ones that support of come in pal flavors are marked.
