Sophia RGB, a few technical questions...(y/c output, firmware)

Two questions:

1)
So I've been running my RGB Sophia for a while now but I wondered if I could also still hook up the original S-video (Y/C) signals from the original monitor port ?

When I try to hook it up I can only get a black and white picture, so the Luminance is there, but not the chroma ? Is it something I messed up on my mother board or is this normal Sophia behavior ?

2)

Has the firmware for the RGB Sophia ever been upgraded ?

If so what are the changes ?

Could I go back to the one I have on my Sophia now ?

How so I know which version is currently on my Sophia ?

Where do I find the latest version for RGB ?

Mmm...looks like that was a bit more than 2 questions..... :D

must be my mobo then....I did a mod to the video output, separating chroma and luma completely (at the cost of loosing composite output, but who needs that ;).....maybe I did more work on it, I remember I wanted to add stereo sound to the 5 pin ;)....

I'll have to remove the mono from my machine and have a good look...thanks for the conformation that it should still work.
