masschamber
I like the odyssey 2, but one thing that bothers me is the lack of music in games, I know popeye has a little music and Turtles puts the voice to good use to create really nice music, but do any other games have in game music on either stock hardware or using the voice? +atari2600land
The problem with the Odyssey 2 is that the hardware doesn't really have the capabilities of different notes. The Voice has actual notes, though, so you can make music with it. I don't know how many homebrews use it, though.

I know the audio hardware is extremely limited 1 channel and only a selection of sounds, but popeye made it work I was just wondering if any others did
+atari2600land
I just thought of something: Ted of Tedfoolery Games found out a way to make beautiful music without the Voice on the homebrew Puzzle Piece Panic. I don't know how, he must be a genius.

So how did you get music in mission impossible to work since the odyssey 2 has such limited audio hardware? is it just the limited sound carefully selected or did you use the cpu to drive more complex audio? I might have to buy puzzle piece panic and mine field just to hear that music Edited August 18, 2018 by masschamber
