I would like to do an action adventure like the original.
Other features I would like to have:
Procedural dungeons
Field of view or sort of it
Probably jpl ram will be required
Hint system for enemies and traps
Enemies active in the shadows
Line of sight to activate reactions (sort of Metal Gear's guards)
Call for reinforcement among the reactions
Swords, spells, potions

Sounds great! I do love the original, much better than the standard RPG style of game.

Are you going to attempt to hack the original, or are you starting from scratch?  Either way, looking forward to this one!

From scratch for sure
But I think that I will try to guarantee continuity of style starting from the original graphics

Wow! Given that Cloudy Mountain is in my top 3 games I would be very excited to see a game of this type. Take my money!

It's one of my all-time favorites, too. I'd be very interested in a sequel that's true to the original!

Dragon Buster II for the NES is very close to this game.  Has the 3 hit til you die, arrow bounce off walls, find an item to progress to the next level.

I like new Intellivision games and ideas that bring back some of the console's past.
