Ok, another bunch of updates:

Choplifter - 32 saved

Hard Hat Mack - 545 pts, level 1
Jawbreaker 1 - 21910 pts

Inter Galleon Battle - 13800 pts
Lunar Leeper - 17100 pts (never got a screenshot on this one)
Malpass the Asteroid Mines - 29190 pts on Intermediate, 19380 pts on Pro
Marauder - 76400 pts

Night Mission Pinball - 217840 pts

On Galactic Patrol, I tied my previous score of 1150 pts and I realize one needs to shoot the bad guy in the middle to make the game last much longer. No improvement on Threshold.

Regarding Inter Galleon Battle, it still froze on my 130XE after using the translator on U119A (which I assume is an OSA translator as U119B has an OSB translator). I switched to my NTSC 800 and enjoyed nearly two full games before the game froze on that one too. It seems buggy, both with the file directly downloaded from Fandal and the ATR prepared by TRBB.

Night Mission 150.810 (those low bumpers are a pest, a lot of 50K-ish games with many balls deflected by them to be be lost between the flippers.

Choplifter - a meagre 32. I recall being quite annoyed on finding out it didn't continue after rescuing all 64 hostages but very much doubt that I will ever reach that point with my 35 year older reflexes. Maybe I spent more time on it when I had as many games for my 800 as I have kids now....(3). Maybe it's the NTSC speed but I find keeping the chopper in the right orientation a lot harder than it was then and while I have learned to live with the fighters the UFOs are a PITA. This looks a lot more serious than the later adaptation.

All we can do is try all the versions avaiable of IGB and Threshold, I can't remeber which ATR of threshold I downloaded but perhaps it might need the disk leaving as R/W. I can upload the one I'm using if needed. McKong are you on 800XL with disk or SIO2SD for this one?

Those T-Shirt are really great RT  so who has a loom in their attic :D

Seviced my microswitches firebuttons as usual seem to oxidise? causing intermittent reliability, this time a quick rub on the posts and contacts with some vfine glass paper seems to be good. No improvments on Threshold or Jawbreaker (very tough game) or HHM though did get a bit further in working out the 2nd screen, next go will see screen 3 (hopefully!)

Did manage improvements on:

Choplifter 44

Kult 38,798

NMP 210,160

Yes, Q to add credits in Night Mission and S for each player who wants to participate, up to 4 players at once. You need at least as many credits as there are players.

I didn't think about how jerky the movement is in Malpass, but character based I believe. Will need to play this again to consider the movement.

Choplifter 42 (this time Altirra PAL, keeping the Chopper pointing the right way feels easier in PAL)

Kult 2754

Malpass 8620

Marauder 37400

Inter Galleon Battle crashed at 2000. Anyone to commend this?

In Malpass, do you also get jerky movement (mostly enemies)? I'm trying to figure if this is how the game is, emulator settings or maybe NTSC/PAL malarkey.

After playing a little more, I can vouch it really is smooth scrolling, and all the enemies move pixel by pixel (soft sprites?) so not jerky.

:(

What Atari machine and system (PAL/NTSC) are you running it on? I might try to replicate that, though atm I'm limited only to NTSC.

Also, I can't start a game in Night Mission. The attract mode is running, but pressing Q does nothing. It's weird, since Q works in other games.
