Ok, so Krips here at AA has my Jag and doing a complete refurb of my consoles blown U38, as well as recapping the system.  After getting that done, the system shows signs of life again.  However, when hooking the system up to his tv, the system doesn't show any video or audio.  Making sure there wasn't an issue with either his games, or cables.  Hooked up his Jag, and his system worked fine no problems.  But my system powers up, but no signal is being sent to the TV.  I haven't found too much information on the issue, just always blown U38s.  Has anyone else had a problem like this?

How is he hooking it up?
Could it be a PAL/NTSC thing?

You'd still see and hear something.

There are some other threads on this exact topic, but the fact there is neither audio nor video leads me to believe there's an issue further up the chain.

Krip got back to me last about the cart connector. It looks fine. I'm thinking I'm gonna try and see if it can be returned.

It's a shame. Don't let this put you off, man.
The Jag is a robust machine. Someone just fucked this one up by stuffing power up it's ass the wrong way..

Try tracing the power round to ensure it is reaching Tom, Jerry and the 68000 and that the Oscillator is working. If you can confim those are all as they should be then unfortuatley it sounds terminal, without a service manual to follow tracking down the issue would be very difficult..

I'll take a good look at that when it gets back.  It should be back in the mail as of tomorrow.

Hopefully it's not too late for a return if it comes to that.

Well, I give up.  I just messaged the eBay seller about returning it.  I dissassembled it, and everything looks good.  Krip did a great job at recapping it, very clean looking.  I just hope I haven't gotten too burnt on the eBay deal.
