howkudyou
Hello! Some time ago I got some Atari 2600 Games and got two copies of Atlantis. One of them looks like a generic one, but the other one looks really strange. I think it might be a bootleg version, but I'm not sure. The font is different and the board is different too. I haven't opened the game, but when I look at the contacts I can see some resistors etc.I've made some pictures too.https://imgur.com/a/EAmOvDFI hope anyone knows what this is. howkudyou
http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-atlantis_20621.html Thanks! Is this a rare version of the game and is it normal that you can see the resistors, transistors etc. on the outside of the board?
+Spriggy
Resistors/transistors outside of the main cart is not unusual or rare. As for the carts rarity, I'm not the expert. Rom Hunter or one of the other kings of carts should chime in to answer.
Rom Hunter
Thanks! Is this a rare version of the game and is it normal that you can see the resistors, transistors etc. on the outside of the board? Not extremely rare. Especially loose. +Spriggy
Not extremely rare. Especially loose. Told you ! But on the other side of the coin howkudyou, the cart is definately not common! I would still say a nice pick-up, in my eyes.
