Okay, im sure this has been asked in the past so if someone could point in the right direction id be much appreciated, but what were the first 6 Wizard Video Games?

I have repro's of Halloween & The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and have checked the cart scans vs my labels to make sure im not going crazy, but there listed as No.007 & No.008 respectivly, did Wizard Video make 6 other games prior to these?

Anything is possible. In my research, Ive found all kinds of bizarre order to product numbering. And in my case, its in my nature to find & keep organization. I mean, look at Konamis 3 Atari 2600 games. For years I couldnt understand it. Then one day, it hit me, the product numbers were assigned using binary code.

In this particular case, sometimes companies purposely dont start at zero or one. As some marketing people feel that looks better in the public eye as the perception that the company is bigger and better & has history.

I dont think any soldier in the history of the armed forces was ever assigned 000,000,001 on there dog tag.

Slightly O/T, but I once worked for an organization that (after many years of existence) decided to issue sequentially numbered membership cards. The first 10 (or 15) numbers were "honorary", and issued to people who had previously made significant contributions. Members-at-large were numbered in the order that they completed the paperwork.

That appears to have been the case, or Charles Band was just superstitious.  The first Wizard Video release on Betamax/VHS (Ms. Don Juan) was also catalog number 007.

Is this for real?  Did a quick search on DigitPress and could find little information.  It looks nothing like the description on Tempest's site.  Is it a hoax or a programmers interpretation of what they believed it would look like?
