CX40Hero
Ive noticed Stella runs fine when just playing but if I run something like Kazam (video capture) the video signal freezes for a few seconds every now and again but the game carries on (the sound is still playing). Do you think this is a memory issue or the software im using to capture Stella? I currently only have 2GB of RAM and if it is this then its an easy and cheap fix. Thoughts? mr_me
Try Xubuntu or Lubuntu; they use less ram.
CX40Hero
I am thinking about trying Xubuntu as a duel boot OS to give it a test. On a side note, the draw of random computer parts yielded 2 x 2GB of DDR3 so Ive doubled up I'll give Stella a full test with screen cap tomorrow to see if the issue is resolved. Anyway, must go, its Mrs CX40's 30th birthday today and she'll be home any minute
