+Ksarul
Also make sure you have your 32K turned on--it needs it.
+videofx
Also make sure you have your 32K turned on--it needs it. Yup I knew it needs the 32K . I found the problem. I guess the Logo II uses or tests more of the memory than the Editor Assembler. When you do a size in XB, you see the extra memory and when I use the Editor/Assembler it works but NOT with Logo II. I replaced the memory in the PEB with a new 32K module and it works! Also it works with the Sidecar 32K arcadeshopper sold me So do I just throw out the bad 32k or is it worth fixing providing we can figure out which chip(s) are bad? +Ksarul
Even if the card is bad, there are those of use that use the clamshells. . . It is a pretty easy card to fix too. Run a memory test on it and see where the problem lies. CorComp's diagnostics module will help there (and it runs in the Final GROM or the FlashROM if you have either of those). My Finalgrom isn't working but when I get it working I will load CorComps digs then find the chip or chips and replace them. Thanks!

If you do find bad dram chips, be sure to place a socket there, as you remove them. Makes it easier in the future to replace the chip if it goes bad again.

+videofx
I have run several 32K memory testers and they all say the 32K is good and passes but Logo won't run so I know something is wrong. Do I just replace all the 4116's?
+Ksarul
I would probably try replacing the 74LS245 on the memory card, followed by the 74LS244s. It may be that the memory itself is good, but the bus interfacing is marginal enough that it works for some things and not for others.
