This thread is for anyone to post something 'educational' that relates to our TI-99/4A hobby.

 

I'll start it off with << THIS LINK >> about the history and demise of the floppy disk(s).

 

Now days the hassle and cost, even in the retro-hobby is eliminating them.

I always found the retrospective articles on the 99/4A, and the mistakes that TI made with it, to be interesting.  I'm thinking specifically of Joseph Nocera's "Death of a Computer" article ...
