So I'm working on a Lynx II, installed the McWill screen.  most of the time when it starts up, I get the static screen that comes up, but it just hands there.  If I power it off/on again right away, it works properly.  Any ideas why the initial power up does that?

Am i looking at bad RAM or Suzy here?

Thanks!

So you are saying that the scrambled pixels that always comes up when you power one with the McWill, isn't actually clearing off the screen unless to do another quick on/off cycle?

I haven't seen that but I think the scrambled pixels is something to do with the McWill LCD initializing itself. So perhaps it could be some odd issue with the LCD not getting all the voltage it needs initially?
