power
Hi guys, Two Lynx with two different ailments First unit - a Lynx 2 all it does is the power LED comes on the screen goes "white" and that's it. No sound or anything else. Does this sound like an easy fix? Apart from this the unit is in decent physical condition. This unit had no battery door when i got it i've had no luck sourcing one on eBay does anyone know where i can get one? Second unit is a PAG-0200 Lynx 1 this one gets what looks like corruption on the screen when you turn it on, no sound etc. Where to start with this one or is this a known fault? Both units are using DC input only and a couple of different known working carts. Edited October 16, 2018 by power

The LYNX 2 could be that, but could be a short on the brightness wheel too. Can you see an image if you look on extreme angles?

I was thinking caps myself, the 2 has no sound so i assumed (maybe wrongly) that it wasn't passing power on tests and completing bootup. It just goes white nothing else speaker doesn't pop or anything.

power
It's ok at least I know there are still doors popping up, I'll keep an eye out. I'm going to order some caps see how things go. If nothing after that not sure what next but yeah I'll wait.
