Need Help with Modded Xbox: Coinops 8 freezing

I just got a modded Xbox and while trying to figure out how everything works, I think I screwed up something. What was simply myself trying to figure out how to add favorites, I ended up messing with the settings, to where I eventually needed to do a 'Reset Settings Only' in the menu to restore the game list.

 

Long story short, Coinops 8 was working fine at first. After my meddling with the console, whenever I try to boot up a game with Coinops 8, now the system freezes! I figure it must have something to do with the settings, because it worked fine until I messed with that. Any help here? I hope I didn't screw this thing up. I can still start arcade games with the MAMEOXTRAS though.

Do you have Xbox Media Center on it? If so, you should be able to find where it's been installed, delete it, and reinstall it. There's a handy file explorer built into XBMC that lets you add, delete, and edit files as necessary. Just be careful... don't delete anything important, and don't blame me if you do. =)

I really can't do that because I don't have the resources to install anything, since I bought this thing pre-modded.

I think I fixed it! After some research, luckily someone else had the same issue, so I adjusting the 'slow info tracking' feature from 'disabled' to 'enabled' and now the games are booting! Phew....man I thought I was going to have to buy another xbox. So far so good.

coinops is the default launch when you turn on the xbox? Guess I haven't payed attention in a long time but I don't recall that thing being much of a dashboard except to launch arcade games.

Speaking of CoinOps 8, I love the fact that support for regular usb PC mouse and keyboard, is built in. All you have to do is buy or make your own controller port to usb adapter.
