What is the "most compatible" 2600?

My Kool Aid Man cart works fine in my Jr.

Kool Aid Man also works fine with my Jr.

Can you both please double check this to confirm? "Kool Aid Man" cartridges are known to have issue with the TIA chip in most Juniors. What generally happens is that the game will start normally with the busting through the wall screen but then the game itself is unplayable because your Kool Aid jug just bounces back and forth in the top left corner of the screen as if it is continually being touched by Thirsties. It is interesting to have two people in this thread that do not have the problem. There is a fixed ROM version out there for use on multi-carts but the original cart should have the issue on most Juniors. I own two Juniors and have the issue on both consoles.

OK, I have read over this thread and many others on this subject. It's tend to lean that the 4 switch is better compatibly than the 6 switch.

The thing is, I am still setting up for my cab ( http://atariage.com/forums/topic/284807-connecting-many-classic-consoles-to-modern-tv-revisited/ ) and my 6 switch is in the best shape...
