I am putting together documentation for this very old and quite rare module from 1979/80. This is my work for the cold dark days...

The Advertiser module (aka Advertizer aka Infospot aka (not official) PHM3063) did not place itself i on the console menu and just added extra CALLs to TI Basic for use in shop displays, convention notice boards, and interactive query points.

The start of the project is at:

I have the demo disk from Atariage- some of the programs don't seem happy with the module image I have, but very few of them look official, and the users were probably experimenting as I am.  The module image I have is the German one- anyone have an English or French version?

Does anyone have ANY documentation in any language?

I am doing this the hard way, just as we did with PRK Basic before the TI document landed in our laps, way back when...

I have disassembled some of the GPL.

What I would also appreciate is pictures of the module- outside and if possible inside!  With permission to put on the above web page...  Thanks

Every copy of the module I have ever seen was on a TI EGROM cartridge board. . .and I have only seen the German variant. I suspect the only difference between versions would have been the documentation in any event, as the additional BASIC commands were probably the same. I've never seen a manual for it either--just the demo disk.

Thanks. The module CALLS sometimes place messages on the screen - which in the case of the German module, are in German. eg "PRESS ENTER" in German, or "Press Cassette Play then Press Enter" in German. The error messages however are in English! In Micropendium August 1986 (many years after the module was released) Mac McCormick when referring to the German scene refers to the Advertiser GROM module as having a 60 page manual. It is unclear if this was produced by TI or by German users. He just mentions so many alluring things so briefly... like an EPROM burner that plugs into the cartridge port... etc. Check that issue out! regards Stephen

The EPROM burner was, in fact, the Mechatronics EPROMMER.
