Rick Dangerous
I was in the Gaming slack chat at my work and we were talking about how there are so many Halloween and Christmas themed games but pretty much NO Thanksgiving themed games. We discussed for like 20 minutes and this is all we cam up with: -Adams Family Values (SNES) -South Park (N64) with all the turkeys! -John Madden Football 97' for Sega Saturn (or pretty much any football game really) Could that really be it? What am I missing? Does the holiday just not translate well to the media? Edited November 9, 2018 by travistouchdown
+chicgamer
I'm sure there are some out there—they may just be really obscure. Off the top of my head, I can only think of how The Simpsons: Road Rage changes if played on a holiday (such as the changes to Marge when played on Thanksgiving). https://youtu.be/N8vN37PdKYQ?t=56

Gamemoose
Big Nose the Caveman for NES kinda gives me thoughts of a B.C.-flavored Thanksgiving game. Big Nose is hungry, see a pterodactyl fly by, has a thought bubble about a roast lizard-bird and heads off after the thing. You'd have to be thankful to get through this title. It's tough. glazball
Probably best there aren't any. Thanksgiving is a pretty stupid made-up-excuse-to-eat-and-shop, oops I mean holiday when you stop to think about it. No need to immortalize it in a video game. carlsson
If you consider Black Friday in your celebration, there surely are some shopping games for you to play, for instance Psycho Shopper for the VIC-20.

Yes, being grateful for what you have one day a year is a huge inconvenience. The "shop" part is a more modern touch a depraved society has given the day. There needs to be a WKRP's Thanksgiving Turkey Drop for the 2600. "God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."

Noah98
Mickey's Magical Quest 3 (Super Famicom / GBA) has a Thanksgiving themed level. You even fight a turkey boss.
